I am rolling out a planning and audit protection program for $400 per year. This price includes a tax plan which is ordinarily $300, one hour of time for Zoom and/or email questions which is ordinarily $250 and up to five hours of notice response or audit work in the unlikely event of an examination. That five hours would cover every issue a client of mine or a firm I have worked out with two exceptions. Since I have done thousands of returns, that is pretty much everyone.
Historically, I have not been billing for a lot of these services which needs to change. This is the flip side of not increasing rates this year.
My time is billed at $250/hour and if you do not sign up for this service, you are going to billed for questions and appointments outside of tax prep. I bill in 15 minute increments but I will warn you before I turn on the clock.
The one caveat is that I will always review notices for free so please send me any notice you get.
