To renew your City of Los Angeles business license, go to this page:

2. Then you need your account number. You would have this from correspondence from the City of Los Angeles or your prior business license. You can also call up the Office of Finance at ______ to get the number. It is a long number with 10 digits, a dash, four more numbers, a dash and one number. 1111111111-0000-1 for example. You also need your address.
3. Mark that nothing changed or enter the changes as they occurred.
4. Click continue
5. Click continue
6. Enter zero and click Continue
7. Enter zero for the first line. Enter your gross receipts, the same number as number 6, for the second.
8. Click generate my tax renewal.
9. Click the appropriate boxes for female and minority owned along with personal property. I do not think I have any clients with personal property over 100k so you can generally click no on that question.
10. Enter your name, title is CEO, phone number and email address. Click accept. There should be zero tax due.
